Cairo is a year-round destination, but October through April offers the most comfortable conditions for sightseeing at the Pyramids and Islamic Cairo.

Coolest, most comfortable months. Peak tourist season — book early for December and January dates.
March – April

Most travellers need 3 days to comfortably see the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Islamic Cairo including Khan el-Khalili. Add a 4th day for Memphis and Saqqara, or extend to 5–6 days to combine Cairo with Luxor or Aswan.
