What ten days buys that a week does not
A week fits Cairo and a Nile cruise. Ten days lets you add a second theme without rushing either. In our 10 day packages that is Alexandria and Abu Simbel with a free day in Cairo, or two nights on the Red Sea in Hurghada. As in every package, the arrival day and the departure day count, so a 10 day trip has nine nights.

Choose your finish
Beach, Alexandria or desert: which finish?
Beach. Three packages include a two-night Red Sea stay: Hurghada in the 10 day package, and Sharm El Sheikh in the 11 day package and in one of the 12 day packages.
Alexandria and Abu Simbel. The 10 day package built around Abu Simbel and both 12 day packages include a day in Alexandria and the Abu Simbel temples. The 11 day package includes Alexandria but not Abu Simbel. Read our Abu Simbel guide before you choose.
Desert. The 12 day Bahariya package includes a night in a White Desert camp, which no other package in this range has.

What is the difference between the two 10 day tours?
Both have Cairo and a Nile cruise. The 10 day Abu Simbel package (from $1,740) adds Alexandria, Abu Simbel and a free day in Cairo, with a four-night cruise. The Hurghada package (from $1,600) has a three-night cruise and two nights by the Red Sea.
Which tour includes a beach stay?
Three packages include two nights on the Red Sea: the 10 day Hurghada package, the 11 day package with Sharm El Sheikh, and the 12 day package with Sharm El Sheikh. The other 10 day package and the 12 day Bahariya package have no beach stay.
Does the 12 day tour include the White Desert?
One of the two does. The 12 day Egypt Highlights package spends a night in a White Desert camp and visits the Bahariya Oasis on its last days. The other 12 day package finishes with two nights in Sharm El Sheikh instead. Both include Alexandria and Abu Simbel.
How much does a 10 day trip to Egypt cost?

Is the Nile cruise included?
Yes. All five packages include nights on a Nile cruise: three nights in the 10 day Hurghada package and the 11 day package, and four nights in the other 10 day package and both 12 day packages. Excursions are with your Egyptologist guide, and the domestic flights to and from the cruise are included.
Can you do 14 days?
Not as a ready-made package: the longest we run is 12 days. For two weeks, for example more time on the Red Sea or in Cairo, we build a tailor-made trip. Tell us your dates on the tailor-made trip page and we will reply with a private route.
Are domestic flights included?
Yes. The domestic flights on each itinerary are part of the package price, for example Cairo to Luxor and Aswan to Cairo on the 10 day Abu Simbel package. International flights to and from Egypt are not included, and neither are the Egypt visa and tips.
