Yes. Every Cairo package can be extended to include Luxor, Aswan, the Red Sea (Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh), or the desert oases. Tell us your interests and travel dates and we'll build a custom itinerary around your Cairo days within 24 hours.

Is Cairo safe to visit in 2026?

Yes. Cairo is rated Level 2 by the US State Department — Exercise Increased Caution, the same level as France or Italy — and is fully accessible to tourists. Giza, Downtown Cairo, and Islamic Cairo are heavily patrolled by Egypt's Tourist Police. See our full Egypt safety guide for complete advisory details.

Can I add a Memphis and Saqqara day tour to my Cairo package?

Yes. Memphis, Saqqara, and Dahshur — home of Egypt's original capital, the Step Pyramid, and the Bent and Red Pyramids — can be added as a standalone day tour from $75 per person, or built into any multi-day Cairo package.

How many days do I need in Cairo?

Most travellers need 3 days to comfortably see the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Islamic Cairo including Khan el-Khalili. Add a 4th day for Memphis and Saqqara, or extend to 5–6 days to combine Cairo with Luxor or Aswan.

Are international flights included in Cairo tour packages?

No. Package prices are land-only and do not include international flights to Cairo. We recommend booking flights separately; Cairo International Airport (CAI) is served by EgyptAir, British Airways, Emirates, Lufthansa, and other major carriers.

Are Cairo tours private or group tours?

Giza pyramids for the 1st time This experience was once in a lifetime. Our pickup was convenient at our hotel, luxury car ride and dedicated tour guide, Mariam. She was so knowledgeable, kind and adaptable. The communication was superb and we all learned so much, making our experience more memorable. Excellent Private Tour Guide - Great Pyramid and Sphinx at Giza Shout out to Sameh Mohamed! Our tour guide has had a quarter of a century of experience in guiding visitors to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. He is truly an ambassador for his company, and city! Thank you also to the driver who picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel. All part of one package. We had a fantastic time and Sameh was very knowledgeable about ancient civilization, particularly on Egyptian culture and history. We highly recommend this private tour!

Wonderful Family Experience! This tour was amazing and totally worth our money. We saw the pyramids + sphinx, and they are soooo impressive! We traveled with 2 kids (ages 9 & 15), and they had a wonderful time as well. The whole pyramid complex is well-organized and there are bathroom + drink/snack spots along the way, and lots of photo ops of course. Our tour guide Fatima was very friendly & so knowledgable, and we learned a lot from her about ancient Egypt. She answered so many of our questions. Our driver Saleh was also very friendly & courteous. Both were very professional, and we would totally book another trip with them again.

Exceptional Tour & Guide ! ! ! This was honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Cairo! Visiting the Giza Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum was already an unforgettable experience, but having Asma as our guide made it truly special. Asma was absolutely wonderful — incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about Egyptian history. She explained everything in a way that was fascinating and easy to understand, giving us not only the historical facts but also the stories, context, and little details that made the places come alive. She was also incredibly attentive throughout the entire tour and made sure we had enough time to enjoy everything, take photos, ask questions, and simply take in the experience. Her enthusiasm and warmth made the whole day feel much more like exploring Egypt with a friend than taking a standard guided tour. The pyramids were breathtaking, and the Grand Egyptian Museum was spectacular, but Asma was definitely one of the best parts of the experience. Today me and my family went on a guided tour with Muhammed Saeed to the Gyza pyramids and the Cairo museum and it was amazing. It is impressive the historical knowledge that he demonstrated. Also he is very friendly and kind! Take very good pictures always open to answer questions and with a smile on his face. It was so cool that tomorrow we will visit old Cairo with him! She was incredibly patient, energetic, and cheerful throughout the entire day. She also took the time to introduce us to Egyptian oils, jewellery, food, and local culture, explaining everything so beautifully.
