Begin at Egypt's first mosque, built in AD 642 in ancient Fustat.

Admire the Ibn Tulun Mosque, a stunning example of Abbasid design, followed by the Sultan Hassan Mosque, once a key center for Islamic scholarship.

Visit the Hanging Church, built over a Roman fortress, the Monastery of St. George, a rare round church, and the Abu Serga Church, where the Holy Family is believed to have sought refuge.
Enjoy a traditional Egyptian lunch at a local restaurant.
Discover Cairo's Jewish history at this synagogue set in lush gardens.

Conclude the tour with invaluable Christian artifacts from Egypt's past.
After a full day of exploring Cairo's religious heritage, you return to Port Said.
