Day1Alamein & Arrival in Siwa
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Cairo to Alamein, approximately a 3-hour journey. First, visit the Alamein Museum & Cemetery, where you’ll explore the historical significance of this site, a key location during World War II. The museum showcases artifacts and stories of pivotal battles that shaped history.
Continue your journey to Marsa Matrouh, a Mediterranean coastal city, where you’ll stop for a relaxing break and enjoy the beautiful views of the sea.
Afterward, embark on the final leg of your journey, a 6-hour drive to Siwa Oasis. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind after a long day of travel.
Day2Siwa Exploration
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to explore the wonders of Siwa. Your first stop is Shali Fortress, a fascinating ancient structure made of kershef (mud and salt), offering stunning views of the surrounding oasis.
Next, visit the Temple of Alexander in Aghurmi Village, dedicated to the legendary conqueror Alexander the Great. Explore the Temple of Amun Ra in Ubeyda, one of Siwa's most sacred temples, dating back to ancient Egyptian times.

The itinerary lists breakfast, lunch and dinner on days 2, 3 and 4. The visa, international airfare and tips are excluded.
How much does the Siwa Oasis package cost and how do I book it?
The price starts from $750 per person, the same figure in both the winter and the summer price rows, and the quote confirms the final price for your group size. Packages are booked by quote: send your details and a travel expert replies within 24 hours. After the quote you pay a 30% deposit, and the balance is due 15 days before arrival. The deposit is 50% over Christmas, New Year and Easter.
Can children join the Siwa Oasis Adventure?
Yes. Infants under 2 travel free, children aged 2 to 5 pay 25%, ages 6 to 11 pay 50%, and age 12 and above pay 100%. These discounts apply when the child shares accommodation with two full-paying adults. Days 1 and 5 are long driving days, so check the plan with a travel expert before booking with young children.
What happens on the desert safari day in Siwa?
Day 3 starts at Maraki Village, then the Great Siwa Mountain with its prehistoric footprints and the Dune Safari and Fossil Area, where you see coral fossils from the Cambrian era. The day continues to Shiata Lake for flamingos and a swim, with sand surfing as an option, and ends with a soak in the Bir Wahid Hot Spring before dinner at your hotel.
