What is the route of the 9 Day Cairo, Nile Cruise and Hurghada Experience?
Days 1 and 2 are in Cairo. On day 3 you fly to Aswan and board the Nile cruise, which sails past Kom Ombo and Edfu to Luxor by day 5. Day 6 combines Luxor's East Bank with a private transfer to Hurghada, days 7 and 8 are on the Red Sea, and you fly back to Cairo on day 8 for departure on day 9.
What does the 9-day package include, and are the domestic flights covered?
The included list has the flights from Cairo to Aswan and from Hurghada to Cairo, 3 nights in a Cairo hotel, 3 nights on the Nile cruise and 2 nights in a Hurghada hotel. It also covers the private Luxor to Hurghada transfer, the itinerary meals, a private guide, entrance fees and taxes. You arrange the visa, your international ticket and tips. The quote confirms the ship and cabin category, and you pay no deposit before you have it.
What can I do in Hurghada on this package?
Day 7 is a free day on the Red Sea. The itinerary mentions sunbathing on sandy beaches, swimming, snorkeling around coral reefs and a desert safari as options, and the highlights add water sports. These activities are optional, and you set your own pace. Ask a travel expert about prices for the options when you request a quote.
How much is the 9-day Cairo, Nile cruise and Hurghada package?
The price starts from $1,610 per person, listed identically for winter and summer. Send a quote request and a travel expert answers within 24 hours. You then pay a 30% deposit, and the balance is due 15 days before arrival. Over Christmas, New Year and Easter the deposit is 50%.
What will I see on the Nile cruise part of the 9-day tour?
Day 3 covers the Aswan High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple before you board. Day 4 brings the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu and a Galabeya party on board. Day 5 explores Luxor's West Bank, with the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are listed on all three days.
What do children aged 6 to 11 pay on the 9-day package?
Children aged 6 to 11 pay 50% of the adult price, children aged 2 to 5 pay 25%, and infants under 2 travel free. From age 12 the full price applies. These rates are valid when the child shares a room with two full-paying adults, and some luxury hotels apply their own child policies.
