Pricing Policy

At Misk Tours, all prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise. However, we are pleased to accept payment in other major international currencies such as Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), and others, based on the official daily exchange rate on the day of payment.

Package prices follow two seasons — Winter (1 Oct – 30 Apr) and Summer (1 May – 30 Sep) — and depend on your group size and accommodation level. Once a deposit is received, your booking rate is locked in and guaranteed.

Holiday Supplement: A 25% surcharge applies to tour packages scheduled during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays, due to peak season demand.

Booking Confirmation

Once your payment is processed, you will receive a written confirmation, a custom itinerary, and travel documents by email. All payment receipts will also be provided for your records.

Cancellation & Refund

Refunds (when applicable) are processed within 14 working days of receiving a written cancellation notice.

Some hotels and cruises may apply stricter cancellation terms, which will be clearly communicated in your itinerary.

Children Policy

Children’s discounts apply only when sharing accommodation with two full-paying adults. Some luxury hotels may apply different policies for young children — these will be outlined in your itinerary if applicable.

Optional Visits

Some unique experiences are optional and not included in the standard package. You can book these add-ons in advance or arrange them on-site (subject to availability):

• Entry into the Great Pyramid of Khufu and other inner tombs
• Sound & Light Shows at the Giza Pyramids, Karnak, or Philae Temples
• Hot Air Balloon Rides over Luxor at sunrise
• Camel Rides or Horse-Drawn Carriages in historical districts
• Private photo sessions at iconic landmarks

These optional tours are payable in USD or local currency (EGP). We recommend booking them in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak season.

Extra Expenses

While our packages are inclusive, we recommend that travelers budget for the following personal and incidental expenses:

• Personal purchases (souvenirs, snacks, etc.)
• Beverages during meals unless explicitly included
• Hotel extras: minibar, room service, laundry, etc.
• Egypt entry visa (typically payable upon arrival)
• SIM cards or internet access, unless provided
• Gratuities and optional experiences

Tipping Guide

Tipping, known locally as "baksheesh", is a widely accepted custom and considered a sign of gratitude for good service. Unless specifically stated, tipping is not included in your package price. We recommend preparing small bills in USD or EGP.
